Dear Community Outreach Organization,
We are getting ready for this year's Festival de La Familia
Event on
Sunday, April 27th 2008.
Please take a moment and look over the instructions on what is required of you
as a community outreach vendor. You can download a
Cal Expo Community Outreach Vendor Map here (the green area indicates the community outreach area).
If you have not done so, please mail in your booth

to ensure your participation.
Every community outreach organization must attend
one of the two community outreach orientations. If you cannot attend, please email Alan
Moreno ASAP!
ORIENTATION A:
When:
THURSDAY,
APRIL 24th 2008
Where: Building A—please see map (Cal Expo)
Time:
6:00 p.m.—
7:00 p.m.
ENTRY TICKETS & PARKING PASSES will be
handed out.
ORIENTATION B:
When:
SATURDAY,
APRIL 26th 2008
Where: Building A—please see map (Cal Expo)
Time:
11:00a.m.—
Noon.
ENTRY TICKETS & PARKING PASSES will be
handed out.
You are encouraged to setup your booth after the
Saturday orientation.
SET-UP:
Where: Please enter Cal Expo using Lot D Entrance(next to the track) When: SATURDAY, APRIL 26th
2008 (any time after the orientation)
SUNDAY APRIL 27th
2008 (6:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m only)
You
will not be allowed to bring your vehicle on grounds to unload materials after 7:30 a.m.
DAY OF EVENT:

As a
Community Outreach Vendor, you are required to be at your booth area
between
10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

All
booths areas are assigned. You are not allowed to move without
permission from the Community Outreach Chair. Each assigned booth will
have a 10x10 space.
BREAKDOWN:
Time:
7:00 p.m.—Do
not begin breaking down your booth before
7:00
p.m.!
ENTRY TICKETS & PARKING PASSES will be
handed out on the Thursday and Saturday orientation. Each community service
vendor will receive 2 tickets and 1 parking pass.
If you are unable to attend, please notify us ASAP!!!
